Our History
Company owner Elizabeth Mason Bray grew up in Liberty County, in the heart of East Texas, surrounded by pipelines and drilling, as well as family members in the oil transport business. Her own professional background includes commercial real estate development and construction steel.
Mason and Company was formed in 1995 as a full cycle recruiting and human resource consulting firm. We are able to place candidates across a wide venue, from administrative to executive, with attention to detail and personal focus on the needs of each client company. Since its inception, Mason and Company has focused on commercial real estate, finance and accounting, engineering, and of course, oil and gas.
In 2010, Bray was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Women’s Energy Network. Within the year, Mason and Company’s oil and gas specialty had grown into a new company division, Pipe and Steel Personnel. Today, we work with a range of firms—small and large, startups and established. We have recruited seasoned veterans within the industry and also set new graduates on the first stop in their career paths.
